I have been wanting to make my hair a little darker, but I didn't want to put chemicals in it and damage it. So I got on the computer and did a little research on google. There are a couple of ways to naturally darken your hair.
Coffee/Black tea
For this I haven't tried the black tea, but currently my hair is soaking in the coffee mixture.
All I did was make a pot of coffee, with a little more coffee grins than usual. You need to let it cool, so put it in the fridge. (I Didn't let mine cool completely, and it kind of burned...ouch) I washed and conditioned my hair and then I squeezed all the extra water out. I then took a bowl and put it under my hair. I poured the coffee over my hair and let it fall into the bowl. I did this repeatedly like 6 times. You probably should do it more, but I was getting impatient. You also can do this over the sink, I just did it in the shower because it can get a little messy. I dried it with a towel and tied it in a pony tail. I let mine stay in the towel because I didn't want coffee dripping everywhere. I've done this before with a shower cap, and it dripped A LOT..
During my research I read that after a couple hours you can rinse out the coffee, but I'm going to see what happens if I leave it in overnight.. Plus, I am not staying up until midnight on a school night. No thanks.
I read that sometimes this takes a few rinses before it finally starts to set in. I will make a follow up blog to show a before and after and how many times I had to do the coffee rinse before it made my hair dark.
PS. This has made my hair super shiny and silky, after an hour I can already tell!
Sage leavesI had heard of the coffee mix before, but I had never heard about sage leaves!! I decided to try a mini mix of it tonight! I didn't even know that I had sage leaves in my spice cabinet, but I guess I did!
You need to boil 2 cups of water and 1/2 a cup of sage leaves and then let it sit and simmer for 30 minutes. Then you need to strain out the sage leaves. This was a hard task for me.. But it is crucial to get all the little pieces out otherwise it will get stuck in your hair. (I learned this the hard way....)
You can add some apple cider vinegar..(I did) and then you just pour it all over your hair
Henna
I will post more about this if I ever decide to try it..
I will let you all know in the morning or the following weeks how my hair darkening process goes.
Thanks for reading!

Diy window/mirror clings!
Windows clings! So simple little kids could do this as a fun craft.
Supplies:
1 tube of demensional fabric paint
Ziploc bag
Snowflakes to trace (optional)
Step 1- decide what snowflake you want and print it off and put the Ziploc bag over it
Step 2: apply a generous amount of the paint on the Ziploc bag
Step 3- let them dry. The thicker they are, the longer it takes, but if they are too thin they'll break. Mine took around 7 hours to dry..
Step 4- this Step is a little messy.. you have to carefully Peel them off and don't let the ends stick to each other
Step 5- apply to a window or mirror and enjoy. :)

Holiday Snack
Sausage Balls!
Every year around Thanksgiving and Christmas, my mom always fixed sausage balls! This is one of the easiest snacks to make, only requiring 4 ingredients!Ingredients:
1lb of Sausage
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
2-3 cups of Busquick
tablespoon of water

Step 1: Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees
Step 2: Take a cookie pan and spray a little bit spam on it
Step 3: Take all your ingredients and mix them into a big bowl.
Step 4: You want to add a little bit of water to the mix, but not too much.
Step 5: Mix all the ingredients until all the ingredients are nice and compact
Step 6: Take out little sections at a time, and ball them up and put them on the cookie sheet, and do this until all the ingredients are gone
Step 7: Place them in the oven for 20 minutes, and i suggest checking them at 10 minutes and maybe turning the cookie sheet
Step 8: Take them out of the oven and right away get them off the cookie sheet so they dont burn.
Step 9: Enjoy!

Coffee Sharpie Cup
Coffee Sharpie Cup
Supplies:
White coffee cup
sharpies EDIT** The lighter colors wash off.. use only black.
oven
Step 1: Before you begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees!
Step 2: Decorate your cup however you want! And then put it in the oven for 30 minutes. When the 30 minutes is up, open the oven door but leave the cups in there, because you dont want to accidentally smudge the sharpie! Once you think its nice and cool, you can take them out.
(I recommend hand washing this cup, because well, you never know)
Enjoy!
EDIT** When I made this, the only color that stayed on was the blue, and the brown turned into pink.. I suggest only using black..

Step 1: Find a piece of scrapbook paper and place it inside the frame
Step 2: Organize the buttons on the OUTSIDE of the glass.

Curly Coils
If you want to curl your hair but don't want to use heat on it, this is the perfect way to get natural curls without damaging your hair!!
Time:
10 minutes before bed, 10 minutes in the morning
Supplies:
hair
bobby pins

In the morning, you will remove all the bobby pins and run your fingers through your hair to separate all of the curls. It will be big and poofy at first, but after a while it tones down. Unless you want it poofy, then hair spray it right away.
If one of the coils came out over night, curl that hair with a curling iron and run your fingers through that to make it look like the rest of your hair.
If you have any questions, just comment!
